Dawn Knasas

Dawn Knasas is a retired naval aviator and current retirement planner with Statera Advisors who combines more than 25 years of military leadership with a passion for helping families build greater financial confidence. A graduate of the University of Southern California and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (MBA), Dawn flew the C-2A Greyhound and E-2C Hawkeye, completed deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and served in leadership roles across the Navy and NATO before retiring in 2025. While navigating her own military retirement, Dawn recognized a significant gap in the guidance and education available to service members and their families during this critical transition. Inspired to help fill that gap, she now specializes in helping military families navigate complex retirement decisions, including pensions, Survivor Benefit Plan elections, tax efficient strategies, life insurance, and long-term income planning through the Statera Retirement Method. Her mission is to provide the clarity, education, and confidence families need to make better informed decisions and build a more secure future.
